1. Recommended washing: Hand wash in gentle detergent and cold water, lay flat to dry.
2. While we do use high quality dyes and make every effort to ensure the dyes used do not bleed, there may be slight bleeding on the first wash. Please follow recommended washing instructions.
3. All yarns sold here are hand dyed and therefore, while we do try to keep the colors as similar as possible in any dye lot, there will be variation. No two hanks will be exactly the same.
4. Hand dyed yarn is sold in units called hanks. A hank is basically a large circle of yarn and definitely needs to be wound into a ball or cake prior to using. There are several options for this: you can wind your yarn into a cake or ball using a commercially available yarn winder and swift, you can place your hank around a chair back or other upright and stationary object and wind it into a ball by hand, or, for a small additional fee, chose the “cake my yarn” option and I can wind it into a cake for you before mailing.
Return policy: We will accept returns on any yarn that is unused and not damaged within 30 days of sale. Please check your yarn upon receipt and let us know if you have any concerns at that time so that we can address any issues immediately.
